Who is this course for?

This class is appropriate for those working with the voice (dysfunctional as well as performance), swallowing, breathing, mouth, and tongue related disorders. Course content is suitable for those with no previous experience using manual therapy, as well as clinicians with previous manual therapy experience. Ideally the course participant will have completed Vocal Health First Aid.

Course Outline

Pre-course Materials: Begin your journey with 2 hours of online, pre-recorded materials, offering a solid foundation in the principles of Shared Decision Making.

Live Online Course: Spend 7 hours participating in a dynamic, interactive day of learning. You’re encouraged to bring a person to work with or work on as you dive into the core principles of the course.Personal Mentoring: After the course, enjoy a 1-hour one-on-one session with Walt Fritz, who will provide you with private mentoring and guidance. It is suggested that your individual session occur after you’ve had opportunities to implement the methodologies presented in the class. You’ll be asked to personalise the mentoring session to meet your specific needs.Interactive Breakout Groups: Throughout the live online course, you’ll engage in highly interactive breakout groups led by expert practitioner teaching assistants who will help you apply these concepts effectively in practice.

Walt Fritz

Walt Fritz is a physical therapist from the United States who has been using manual therapy as a primary intervention since 1992. He has been an educator since 1995, and his work has evolved from “myofascial release” into a more accurate term, “manual therapy.” He teaches health and vocal performance professionals across the globe.
